The statistics are sobering, but our resolve is stronger. For years, Drive More Safely has advocated for safer roads in South Africa. Today, we are beyond proud to announce the culmination of that vision – Kids Court SA a game-changing initiative designed to tackle road trauma at its root.
Why Kids Court SA?
We believe we cannot police our way out of South Africa’s road safety crisis. Real change requires a cultural shift, and that shift must begin with our youth.
Kids Court SA is not just another awareness campaign; it is an immersive educational experience. It is designed to take children out of the traditional classroom and into a simulated environment where they learn the real-world consequences of road behaviour – both good and bad.
Shaping Attitudes, Saving Lives
Through interactive learning, role-playing as both pedestrians and “junior traffic officers,” and understanding the rules of the road in a practical setting, we are empowering children with more than just knowledge. We are empowering them with a sense of responsibility and citizenship.
We are moving beyond “look right, look left, look right again.” We are teaching the why behind the rules, fostering empathy, and creating a generation that values life on the road – their own and others’.
